Michelle Gallagher, KC

Michelle Gallagher joined the Canadian Army as a reservist at age 17.  Transferring to the Regular Force, she obtained her undergraduate degree at UBC in 1993. She served initially as a Nursing Officer (RN) in the Army, then retrained as an  Armour Officer in the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians).  After leaving military service in 2003, she obtained her law degree and MBA at the University of Alberta.  She was called to the bar in 2009, and appointed as Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) in 2022.

Edward (Ed) Gallagher, CD

Ed Gallagher joined the Canadian Army at age 17.  After attending Military College, he was commissioned in 1983 as an infantry officer in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.  He then pursued a law degree and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1992.  He continued his military service as a military lawyer in the office of the Judge Advocate General until retiring in 2002.  He was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2002 and co-founded Patriot Law that same year.
